Propose a Special Issue
Journal of Advanced Therapeutic Science welcomes proposals for focused collections that address important questions in therapeutic science. Researchers with relevant expertise are invited to review the proposal requirements and contact the editorial office.
A proposal is strongest when it names a question the collection will answer, explains why a collection serves it better than separate papers, and identifies the community likely to contribute.

What to include
A workable proposal
- Subject and rationale. The question, and why it warrants a collection now.
- Guest editors. Names, affiliations and relevant expertise for each proposed guest editor.
- Shape. The kinds of contribution expected and roughly how many.
- Timeline. A realistic period for assembling the collection.

Safeguards
How collections are governed
A Special Issue is edited to the same standard as the rest of the journal. Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request. Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts.
Guest editors declare interests in the subject and the contributors, and recuse themselves from decisions on their own submissions and on manuscripts where an interest could be seen to bear on the outcome. Final editorial authority remains with the journal’s editors.
