The researchers who assess, review and decide the work published in Journal of Water. Their expertise spans the journal's remit: catchment and groundwater hydrology, water quality and biogeochemistry, treatment and wastewater engineering, environmental toxicology, and water resources management.
Stewardship
What the board does
Board members take manuscripts within their expertise, choose reviewers, weigh what the reviews establish and write the decision. Editorial decisions rest with the handling editor and the reviewers, and remain independent of fees, membership, and editorial or reviewing roles.
The handling of manuscripts is set out in the Editors’ Guidelines and the Editorial Policies.
