Indexing and Discovery
Registering an identifier, exposing metadata and being selected by a subject database are three different things.
This page separates them. Each entry below is a status the journal holds in a service's own public record, and each can be checked there.
Identifiers
How the journal and its articles are identified
Journal identifier
The journal is registered under ISSN 2643-2811. The registration can be read in the ISSN Portal record at portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2643-2811. An ISSN identifies a serial; it is not an indexing status.
Article identifiers
Articles are assigned DOIs under the publisher's Crossref prefix 10.14302, with metadata deposited to Crossref at publication. The journal's Crossref record is public and lists the deposits held there. DOI registration provides persistent linking and citation matching; like an ISSN, it is not an indexing status.

Harvesting and discovery
Metadata harvesting
The publisher operates an OAI-PMH 2.0 endpoint at openaccesspub.org/oai, through which services may harvest article metadata in a standard form.
Discovery services
The journal holds an OpenAlex source record under the identifier S4210209592, which aggregates its articles for discovery. A discovery index gathers metadata broadly and applies its own coverage rules; inclusion there reflects harvesting rather than a selection decision about the journal.
Selective indexing
Journal-level indexing status
Selective journal-level indexing is a separate status. A subject database evaluates a journal against its own criteria and records the outcome in its own public listing.
This page names a database only where the journal's coverage appears in that database's own public record, with the date the record was read. Any coverage confirmed in future will be listed here on the same terms. Preservation
Keeping the record available
This journal’s content is committed to Portico, a not-for-profit digital-preservation archive run by ITHAKA (the organization behind JSTOR). As articles are deposited they enter Portico’s permanent archive, so the scholarly record stays available for the long term — even if a title one day ceases to publish.
Deposit in PubMed Central
Eligible NIH-funded manuscripts may be deposited individually in PubMed Central through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS).
An individual deposit of this kind places one manuscript in PubMed Central. It is a route open to eligible funded authors, and it is separate from journal-level coverage in PubMed, MEDLINE or PubMed Central.
