What it is
What membership does, and what it does not
Membership supports the journal's open-access publishing and gives members a reduced article processing charge, advance notice of calls for papers, and issue updates.
Membership is optional; authors may submit regardless of membership status, and a manuscript from a member is handled exactly as any other manuscript is.
Membership and editorial decisions
Membership confers no advantage in the review or acceptance of a member's own manuscripts. It does not affect how quickly a manuscript is handled, who reviews it, or what the editors decide. Decisions remain independent of fees, membership, editorial roles and paid services.

Fees are annual. The reduction applies to the standard article processing charge of USD 2,400 set out on the Article Processing Charges page.

Who can join, and how
Eligibility
- A medical degree, doctoral qualification or equivalent professional credential.
- Active work in colorectal cancer research, clinical care or education.
- Agreement to the journal's publication-ethics and professional standards.
What an application needs
- Current institutional position and professional credentials.
- A short statement of research or clinical interests.
- Institutional affiliation and contact details.
- The chosen tier and the annual fee.
